The Edison - New Restaurant to Replace Walburgers

Benson's Restaurant Group, a part of Marcus Investments, is set to expand its presence in Milwaukee's Third Ward by taking over the recently vacated space of Wahlburgers at 322 N. Broadway. The new, yet-to-be-named restaurant is undergoing design and reconstruction and will encompass 3,460 square feet, featuring a bar and both indoor and outdoor dining. The project is expected to support 60 jobs. Milwaukee developer Robert Joseph owns the building, previously home to Jennaro Brothers Produce. Benson's, formerly known as Hospitality Democracy, is known for properties like Onesto, Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, and Smoke Shack in the Third Ward.
