First Homes Sold at Lakeshore Commons

Oak Creek's Lakeshore Commons development, located 14 miles south of downtown Milwaukee, is seeing increased interest as buyers move into the first houses of the 700-unit luxury housing project. The development, transforming the city's industrial lakefront, includes single-family houses, townhomes, and apartments. Jay Schmidt Group reports several properties under contract, with two families closing on the first phase's 82 single-family houses. Prices range from $476,000 to $1 million, and buyers can choose pre-built houses or customize layouts by purchasing lots. Two apartment buildings and 28 townhomes are under construction, set to be completed this summer, with townhome prices ranging from $395,000 to $600,000. F Street Development is the developer behind Lakeshore Commons.
