The Couture at 11 Stories & Rising

The Couture tower in downtown Milwaukee, a $190 million project led by developer Rick Barrett and contractor J.H. Findorff & Son, is set to top out by November. The construction, progressing well with about 100 daily workers, aims to complete one floor every four days at its peak. The 44-story tower will include 322 apartments and 50,000 square feet of retail space. The lower floors are taking shape with potential for a cafe and outdoor terrace. The project also features a transit center with a 40-foot span for buses and streetcars. Barrett is enthusiastic about the city's thoughtful plans for the transit center and surrounding areas.
