The Edison Unveiling

Benson's Restaurant Group is launching "The Edison" in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, taking over the former Wahlburgers space. Set to open this summer, The Edison is a sophisticated neighborhood grill offering coal-fired butchers' cuts, seafood, and classic dishes. The restaurant, with a capacity of 140 inside and 44 on the front patio, features a speakeasy-inspired bar highlighting curated spirits and inventive cocktails. General Manager Patrick Erdman and Executive Chef Anthony Janssen lead the management team. The menu is designed by regional executive chef Steve Gustafson and Corporate Executive Chef Alex Sazama. The space combines raw architectural elements with warm wood and tall windows. The Edison will operate seven days a week for brunch, lunch, and dinner, with weekday happy hours. Hiring is currently ongoing for various positions.
