Who Will Rent All the New Downtown Apartments? Couture Developer Weighs In.

Three months after opening, nearly a quarter of the units in Milwaukee's new Couture apartment tower are leased. Of the 322 apartments, 23% are leased, and about 10% are occupied, per Willow Bridge Property Co.

The Couture is one of several new luxury apartment buildings downtown, with units renting for up to $11,650 a month. It targets young professionals, empty nesters, and dual-income couples without kids. Small units start at $1,945 a month, while two-bedroom units range from $3,800 to $4,800 a month.

The top floors, designed for empty nesters, are almost fully leased. The remaining three-bedroom unit is listed at $8,095 a month. Construction on these top units will be completed by the end of July.
