Future Riverwalk Plans Paint Watertown as a Destination

A community event in Watertown discussed plans for expanding the city's riverwalk, presented by our very own, Eric Mayne . The project aims to revitalize downtown, enhance public amenities, and promote walkability with continuous pathways, signage, and cafes along the river. Environmental considerations, like stormwater management, were also highlighted. The riverwalk would align with Main Street improvements set for 2028, with construction starting in 2026 if approved. A report will be prepared based on community feedback and zoning requirements.
