1840 Brewing
1840 Brewing is set to launch its second taproom in West Bend, Wisconsin, in January 2024. Situated on the first floor of The District multifamily development, the taproom boasts 6400 SF of interior space and an additional 1750 SF of patio space, creating a community-focused destination off Main Street. Inspired by the local brewing history, the owners aimed to craft a welcoming space with design elements reminiscent of their flagship location in Milwaukee's Bay View. The central bar features shou sugi ban wood, brick, concrete counters, and a metal mesh ceiling. The space includes a coffee trailer, a kitchen for curated bites, and lounge areas with an electric fireplace. With a moveable glass wall connecting interior and patio, the taproom aims to be a year-round social hub for the West Bend community, offering a diverse menu of food, craft brews, and coffee.
